What are Pastel Colours?

  Colours can highly influence our mood and also decipher your sentiments. Let’s take a journey into the world of pastel colours. Pastel colours/shades are a part of the light color range, which have a high amount of white colour and low concentration of pure colours in them. These colours can be made by adding more of white to the dark (pure) colours. Generally, pure colours are colors that display an identical form on some element of apparent colour. In short, pastel colours are pure colours + white.  If you are an art lover, than you can easily identify a “Monet” painting; it does not have hues of black/gray to it. Adding black or gray converts into a shade of that colour and it is no longer a pastel shade. You will find people selling light gray colour as pastel shade but it isn’t, it is all part of media marketing. Pastels are popular!
