What is the difference between Camel and Camlin?
Kokuyo Camlin is one of India’s oldest art & stationery supplies companies.
There would be very few people in India who haven’t ever used a Camel or Camlin product in their lives. Currently known as Kokuyo Camlin, they are a leading art and stationery manufacturer in India.
Kokuyo Camlin
Founded in 1931 as Dandekar & Co., the company later changed its name to Camlin Ltd. This name remained until May 2012, when Camlin came to an agreement with the Japanese company Kokuyo Co. Ltd. and changed its name to Kokuyo Camlin. Kokuyo kept both Camel and Camlin.
But if you have noticed, you’ll see that the two are not one and the same.
